The First Little Dragonfly

My first block was a simple design to learn how to hold and use the tools and figure out what marks each carving tip could make.  I used a Speedy-Carve block to make it as easy as possible and not be discouraging to creativity or learning.  Without any instruction, I carved and printed it the very same day I bought my tools from the art supply store.  It was exciting!!
